Have you ever been curious for a taste of Halifax Humanities 101? Join us on September 5th for a lecture from Dr. Neil Robertson on Homer’s Odyssey, followed by a Q&A with alumni.
Homer’s Odyssey was written down nearly 3000 years ago and yet has resonated through time, most recently in the form of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. Discover what Halifax Humanities 101 has to offer, hear from graduates of the program, and experience the joy of learning in a lecture from Dr. Neil Robertson. What is it about this story that speaks to our human condition? What can we learn by opening ourselves up to the original poem so that it can speak to us today?
